About Durham Tees Valley Airport

Durham Tees Valley Airport (MME) is located midway between Darlington and Middlesbrough and close to the A1(M), A19 and A66 roads. Although small, the airport serves a number of UK and European destinations and is currently undergoing an expansion program to allow it to handle up to 3 million passengers a year.

The airport was originally named Teesside International Airport but was renamed in 2004 to Durham Tees Valley Airport. It's sometimes known as Teesside Airport or Teesside International Airport, too.
