Dyce, just to the north west of Aberdeen is also the home of Aberdeen Airport. Like Aberdeen itself, Dyce has grown and prospered considerably because of the North Sea oil industry, for which Aberdeen is the main administrative and logistical base.

Dyce is a historic location and boasts an early medieval church, St. Fergus Chapel, situated just to the north of the airport. Although Dyce is a small town, it does have its own van hire facilities, offering most common types of rental van:
