Portadown Van Hire
Portadown is a town in County Armagh, Northern Ireland. It’s home to around 32,000 people and is located close to the coast and to the south west of Belfast.
The town of Portadown has a history stretching back to at least the early 17th century. However, major growth did not come until the development of the railways turned the town into the location of an important railway junction, en route to many major Irish destinations.
Portadown was historically a major centre for the linen industry and still has a substantial, albeit more diverse, industrial base today. It’s also a major regional retail centre – both industry and retail are helped by the town’s proximity to the M1 motorway, which runs a couple of miles to the north of Portadown.
