The seaside resort of Weston-super-Mare is situated on the North Somerset coast. It's just 18 miles from Bristol and is also close to Bridgewater, making it a popular holiday destination for people in the south west of England.

Although Weston-super-Mare's distinctive pier burned down in 2008, it is being replaced and the new pier is scheduled to open in 2010.
