Wythenshawe Van Hire
Wythenshawe is a district of Greater Manchester with a population of 66,000. It's situated to the south of the city of Manchester and includes the areas of Baguley, Benchill and Northenden.
The district of Wythenshawe is located to the south of the Greater Manchester area, fairly close to both Stockport and Altrincham. Wythenshawe is also very close to Manchester Airport, which lies a few miles to the south of the district.
The settlement in the area of Wythenshawe dates back to the 1920s, when large tracts of farmland around Wythenshawe Hall were purchased by Manchester Corporation to build new housing to enable residents in the slums of Manchester to move out of the city.
Today, Wythenshawe has a number of large employers and industrial estates and a sizeable population – 66,000 - of its own. Van hire is in demand around Wythenshawe thanks to the varied demands of the areas' business and residents and to nearby Manchester Airport.
