{"id":161,"date":"2008-06-12T11:00:26","date_gmt":"2008-06-12T10:00:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.vanrental.co.uk\/vanblog\/?p=161"},"modified":"2018-03-14T16:06:12","modified_gmt":"2018-03-14T16:06:12","slug":"increased-congestion-hitting-uk-business","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vanrental.co.uk\/vanblog\/archives\/161","title":{"rendered":"Increased Congestion Hitting UK Business"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Increased congestion is hitting the effectiveness of British businesses, according to a new survey by car and van rental giant <a href=\"http:\/\/www.awin1.com\/cread.php?awinmid=6795&amp;awinaffid=72569&amp;clickref=vrblog\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Europcar<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>70% of the 300 businesses surveyed said that congestion was impacting the efficiency of their staff when travelling for work, with 42% of those who responded saying that up to 20% of business travel time was spent in congested traffic.<\/p>\n<p>80% of those surveyed felt that traffic congestion is getting worse in the UK &#8211; no arguments there.
