{"id":3585,"date":"2012-08-02T13:46:35","date_gmt":"2012-08-02T13:46:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.vanrental.co.uk\/vanblog\/?p=3585"},"modified":"2012-08-02T13:46:35","modified_gmt":"2012-08-02T13:46:35","slug":"citroen-extends-4-year-free-business-class-van-offer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vanrental.co.uk\/vanblog\/archives\/3585","title":{"rendered":"Citro\u00ebn Extends 4-Year Free &#8216;Business Class&#8217; Van Offer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-3586\" title=\"Citroen Dispatch\" src=\"https:\/\/www.vanrental.co.uk\/vanblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/citroen-dispatch-man-sm.jpg\" alt=\"Citroen Dispatch\" width=\"300\" height=\"189\" \/><strong>Citro\u00ebn has extended its &#8216;Upgrade To Business Class&#8217; package, which is available at no cost and includes a 4-year servicing and extended warranty deal.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The business class package, which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vanrental.co.uk\/vanblog\/archives\/3372\">I previously mentioned in June<\/a>, was previously on offer until the end of July but has now been extended to &#8220;for the foreseeable future&#8221;, according to a press release issued by Citro\u00ebn today:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Now the \u2018Upgrade to Business Class\u2019 package will continue to be available to qualifying customers on all new Citro\u00ebn LCVs supplied by participating Citro\u00ebn dealers and Business Centres for the foreseeable future.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The no-cost Citro\u00ebn \u2018Upgrade to Business Class\u2019 package includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>4 years\/60,000 mile servicing (whichever comes first), allowing customers to have their LCVs serviced annually over this period<\/li>\n<li>4 years Citro\u00ebn Assistance (provided by the AA), with Roadside Assistance, At Home Assistance, Recovery, Onward travel and European cover<\/li>\n<li>Warranty extension to 4 years\/120,000 miles (whichever comes first)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Scott Michael, Citro\u00ebn\u2019s Head of Commercial Vehicles &amp; Business Centre Programme, commented:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cCitro\u00ebn takes its responsibilities seriously in the matter of reducing the whole life costs of its award-winning LCV range. The continuation of the innovative \u2018Upgrade to Business Class\u2019 package means we can continue to provide our customers with long-term economic benefits. This is coupled with other cost reduction and enhanced efficiency benefits introduced this year as part of the \u2018Citro\u00ebn Vans &#8211; Business Class\u2019 initiative, which puts Citro\u00ebn even further ahead of its competition.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3>vanrental.co.uk says:<\/h3>\n<p>Presumably\u00a0Citro\u00ebn is suffering from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vanrental.co.uk\/vanblog\/archives\/3450\">falling new van sales<\/a> as badly as most other manufacturers &#8212; this no-cost deal seems attractive for tradesmen and low-mileage SMEs and could help swing a few more sales\u00a0Citro\u00ebn&#8217;s way.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Citro\u00ebn has extended its &#8216;business class&#8217; 4-year warranty, breakdown and servicing deal for the foreseeable future.
