{"id":4707,"date":"2013-05-29T16:10:50","date_gmt":"2013-05-29T16:10:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.vanrental.co.uk\/vanblog\/?p=4707"},"modified":"2013-05-29T16:10:50","modified_gmt":"2013-05-29T16:10:50","slug":"supertrucks-7-day-fleet-deal-showcases-lightweight-glass-racking","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vanrental.co.uk\/vanblog\/archives\/4707","title":{"rendered":"Supertrucks 7 Day Fleet Deal Showcases Lightweight Glass Racking"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"attachment_4708\" style=\"width: 330px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4708\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4708\" alt=\"7 Day Windows Volkswagen Crafter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.vanrental.co.uk\/vanblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/vw-crafter-supertrucks-7day-sm.jpg\" width=\"320\" height=\"249\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.vanrental.co.uk\/vanblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/vw-crafter-supertrucks-7day-sm.jpg 320w, https:\/\/www.vanrental.co.uk\/vanblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/vw-crafter-supertrucks-7day-sm-300x233.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 320px) 100vw, 320px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-4708\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Volkswagen Crafter fitted with Supertrucks racking for 7 Day Windows<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Hot on the heels of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vanrental.co.uk\/vanblog\/archives\/4643\">its German export success<\/a>, racking specialist Supertrucks has delivered six vans to window company 7 Day Windows, on hire from commercial truck and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vanrental.co.uk\/\">van hire<\/a> firm <a href=\"http:\/\/www.burnt-tree.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Burnt Tree Group<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0six VW Crafter vans have been fitted with full interior and exterior glass racking from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.supertrucks-uk.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Supertrucks<\/a>&#8216; lightweight, all-alloy range, and are designed to provide maximum operational versatility for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.7-day.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">7 Day Windows<\/a>, as they can carry double-glazed windows, doors and sheet glass.<\/p>\n<p>Externally the Crafters have an off-side mounted, all-alloy 4250mm long x 2540mm high rack, which is equipped with three System 1 retaining poles.\u00a0 These external racks, like most Supertrucks racks, are installed without the need to drill the side panels of the van.\u00a0\u00a0Also the vans are fitted with full length, all-alloy, roof racks.<\/p>\n<p>Supertrucks\u2019 latest light-weight, all-alloy glass racks fitted to the 7 Day Windows Crafters incorporate a unique range of standard features, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>rubber base blocks, incorporating side reflectors, to provide better in-transit load protection and improve vehicle visibility<\/li>\n<li>reflective white safety markers, to effectively define the rack edges front and rear in poor visibility<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Inside the vans are fitted with the company\u2019s latest, light-weight twin, all-alloy racks, with retaining poles.
