The traditional electric milk float is a dying breed these days,\u00a0but\u00a0this 1961 Morris milk float\u00a0has survived with a vengeance.<\/p>\n

Powered by a 3.5-litre Rover V8, Mel Smith’s milk float\u00a0churns up the tarmac\u00a0at every opportunity. Rumour has it that the milkfloat was originally converted by a previous London-based owner who used it to tow a speedboat, but the details of ‘Milky’s’ history are a bit hazy.<\/p>\n

This fire-breathing one-off was recently fitted with a new set of Falken tyres\u00a0and\u00a0put to the test by\u00a0Team Falken’s drift driver, Matt Carter.<\/p>\n

Commenting on his time with Milky, Carter, whose usual ride is a 600hp Nissan Skyline GT-R, said:<\/p>\n

“Compared to my 600+bhp Nissan competition car, this was still more of a pig than a cow to drift. With no seat belts or doors, it was a case of hanging on rather than hanging the tail out!\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
