{"id":6427,"date":"2014-07-15T14:21:45","date_gmt":"2014-07-15T14:21:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.vanrental.co.uk\/vanblog\/?p=6427"},"modified":"2014-07-15T14:21:45","modified_gmt":"2014-07-15T14:21:45","slug":"vauxhall-keeps-vivaro-clean-with-36-van-hoover-deal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vanrental.co.uk\/vanblog\/archives\/6427","title":{"rendered":"Vauxhall keeps Vivaro clean with 36-van Hoover deal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-6428\" src=\"https:\/\/www.vanrental.co.uk\/vanblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/vauxhall-vivaro-hoover-candy-sm.jpg\" alt=\"Vauxhall Vivaro Hoover Candy\" width=\"350\" height=\"233\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.vanrental.co.uk\/vanblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/vauxhall-vivaro-hoover-candy-sm.jpg 350w, https:\/\/www.vanrental.co.uk\/vanblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/vauxhall-vivaro-hoover-candy-sm-300x199.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 350px) 100vw, 350px\" \/>Luton-based Vauxhall has secured a deal with Hoover Candy to supply 36 of its British-built Vivaro vans.<\/p>\n<p>The domestic appliance giant, Hoover Candy, has taken delivery of the 36 liveried L1H1 Glacier White Vivaros, which are from the outgoing Vivaro range, rather than <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vanrental.co.uk\/vanblog\/archives\/6249\">this year&#8217;s all-new model<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Fitted with the Euro 5 compliant 2.0 CDTi 90PS engine, offering both performance and fuel economy, the vans deliver an impressive 37.7mpg while lowering the overall CO<sub>2<\/sub> emissions of Hoover Candy\u2019s fleet.<\/p>\n<p>The vans will be used by Hoover Candy\u2019s service engineers over the next four years, to travel the country servicing customers\u2019 appliances. The Vivaros\u2019 interiors have been modified by in-vehicle workshop conversion specialist, the Bott Group, to further enhance the usability of the vehicle for the service engineers.<\/p>\n<p>Fleet Operations Manager at Hoover Candy, Neil Parsons, said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWe were impressed with the speed of the service provided by Vauxhall and how the team performed against a very tight delivery schedule.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Hoover Candy\u2019s service engineers will rely on these vans to carry out their jobs to the highest standards.
