Changes focus on an updated exterior design and improved fuel efficiency and running costs, according to the firm.<\/p>\n<p>The new model will have\u00a0updated versions of the popular 1.3-litre and 1.6-litre MultiJet engines,\u00a0both of which will also be available in a new EcoJet version of the\u00a0Dobl\u00f2.<\/p>\n<p>The EcoJet specification will focus on delivering maximum fuel efficiency through the addition of features such as\u00a0Start&amp;Stop; low rolling-resistance tyres; low-viscosity oil; an \u2018intelligent\u2019 alternator; a variable-displacement oil pump and a new aerodynamic pack.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, Fiat expects the EcoJet models to\u00a0deliver fuel\u00a0economy of up to 64mpg, with CO2 emissions as low as 115g\/km.<\/p>\n<p>Externally, the front end of the van has been updated to reflect the changes seen on the\u00a0latest Ducato models, while the\u00a0Dobl\u00f2 will also be the first Fiat model to bear the Fiat Professional\u00a0badging, which will now be used on all Fiat commercial models.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_6697\" style=\"width: 560px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6697\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-6697\" src=\"https:\/\/www.vanrental.co.uk\/vanblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/fiat-doblo-cargo-2-sm.jpg\" alt=\"2015MY Fiat Doblo Cargo\" width=\"550\" height=\"385\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.vanrental.co.uk\/vanblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/fiat-doblo-cargo-2-sm.jpg 550w, https:\/\/www.vanrental.co.uk\/vanblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/fiat-doblo-cargo-2-sm-300x209.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.vanrental.co.uk\/vanblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/fiat-doblo-cargo-2-sm-50x35.jpg 50w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-6697\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The new 2015 Fiat Doblo Cargo<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Finally, like most other manufacturers, Fiat has an ever-expanding arsenal of electronic safety systems derived from traction control: the\u00a0Dobl\u00f2 will now be available with\u00a0ESC (Electronic Stability Control), ABS brakes with EBD (Electronic Brake force Distribution), ASR (Anti Slip Regulation), HBA (Hydraulic Brake Assist) and Hill-Holder systems that help the driver during hill starts.<\/p>\n<p>Front airbags and front side airbags, as well as TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) are also part of the Dobl\u00f2\u2019s safety arsenal.<\/p>\n<p>The new\u00a0Dobl\u00f2 Cargo will have a payload of up to\u00a0one tonne and will be available\u00a0with up to five cubic metres of loadspace.\u00a0First UK deliveries are expected in Spring 2015.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Fiat has unveiled the latest version of its Doblo Cargo van, which will be available in the UK from spring 2015.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":[],"categories":[8],"tags":[1685,122],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.vanrental.co.uk\/vanblog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/6695"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.vanrental.co.uk\/vanblog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.vanrental.co.uk\/vanblog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.vanrental.co.uk\/vanblog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/2"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.vanrental.co.uk\/vanblog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=6695"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/www.vanrental.co.uk\/vanblog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/6695\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":6698,"href":"https:\/\/www.vanrental.co.uk\/vanblog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/6695\/revisions\/6698"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.vanrental.co.uk\/vanblog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=6695"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.vanrental.co.uk\/vanblog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=6695"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.vanrental.co.uk\/vanblog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=6695"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
