Available from late April onwards, the new models will be debuted at the CV Show in April.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Enterprise<\/em>\u00a0specification of\u00a0the Relay chassis cab used for Ready to Run\u00a0conversions will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Teletrac Smartnav &amp; Trackstar stolen vehicle tracking telematics package<\/li>\n<li>Air conditioning<\/li>\n<li>Cruise control with variable speed limiter<\/li>\n<li>Perimetric alarm<\/li>\n<li>5-inch colour touch screen\/DAB digital radio<\/li>\n<li>Bluetooth\u00ae, audio streaming &amp; SMS<\/li>\n<li>MP3 compatible CD player<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Not bad, I reckon, especially at\u00a0Citro\u00ebn&#8217;s traditionally competitive prices.<\/p>\n<h3>Euro 6 debut<\/h3>\n<p>Citro\u00ebn will also introduce its first Euro 6 van models at the CV Show.<\/p>\n<p>From July 2015 through to September 2016 there will be a rolling programme to introduce advanced, low emission, highly fuel-efficient BlueHDi Euro 6 compliant engines to the Citro\u00ebn LCV range.<\/p>\n<p>The firm is introducing a Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) solution to meet the new standards, as are most other manufacturers. A particular challenge is meeting Euro 6&#8217;s\u00a0targets for Nitrogen Oxide (NOx) reduction: as I&#8217;ve written recently, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vanrental.co.uk\/vanblog\/archives\/7107\">Euro 5 failed to achieve the\u00a0targeted NOx reductions in urban use<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vanrental.co.uk\/vanblog\/archives\/6908\">NOx is one of the most harmful pollutants\u00a0in modern diesel emissions<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Citro\u00ebn&#8217;s new Euro 6 diesels will be branded as BlueHDi, but will in due course become\u00a0the only\u00a0available option &#8212; <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/European_emission_standards#Emission_standards_for_light_commercial_vehicles\" target=\"_blank\">from September 2015<\/a>, I believe.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Citro\u00ebn will introduce a new high-specification\u00a0Enterprise\u00a0model to its ready-bodied Relay Ready to Run range\u00a0for 2015.
