Coventry Van Hire
Coventry, in the West Midlands, is a large city close to Birmingham and Warwick. Bordered to the north by the M6 motorway, Coventry is also served by the M69, M45 and M40 motorways, making the city a practical location for businesses.

One of the major cities of the West Midlands, Coventry is the eleventh largest city in the UK. Perhaps best known as the heart of the British motor industry, Coventry will also forever be remembered for the catastrophic damage it suffered during WWII bombing raids. Today it has been completely rebuilt and its modern cathedral pierces the skyline of a large, metropolitan city. Today's cathedral was built in the late 1950s, following the destruction of the original, 16th century cathedral during the bombing of Coventry in 1940.
Sadly, the motor industry in Coventry is nowhere near as significant as it once was. By early 2008, only LTI, the makers of black London taxis, were still producing cars in Coventry. Despite this, Coventry's central location and excellent transport connections mean that it has remained an attractive location for a variety of other types of businesses.
Coventry is also well-provided for academically, with its own University of Coventry as well as the nearby University of Warwick. It also has many well-known schools and sporting teams, as is to be expected of a city that's home to more than 300,000 people.
On a more practical note, Coventry's broad mixture of business, industry and residential areas means that van hire is in strong demand throughout the city. Consequently, van hire is readily available in Coventry, with local van rental companies providing a comprehensive range of hire vans:
- Medium / short wheelbase vans - e.g. Ford Transit, Vauxhall Vivaro, Renault Trafic, Volkswagen Transporter
- Small vans - e.g. Vauxhall Combo, Ford Transit Connect, VW Caddy
- Large / long wheelbase vans - e.g. Mercedes Sprinter XLWB, Ford Transit LWB, Renault Master, LDV Maxus
- Luton vans & box vans (3.5 tonne / 3.5t).
