Europcar was founded in Paris in 1949 and has grown to become one of the world's largest car and van rental companies. It operates a fleet of more than 200,000 vehicles across the world and has 180 locations in the UK alone.
Since 2007, Europcar has also operated the National and Alamo rental brands in Europe.
Europcar offers four classes of van for hire - small vans (e.g. Citroen Berlingo), short wheelbase panel vans (e.g. Ford Transit SWB), long wheelbase vans (e.g. Mercedes-Benz Sprinter LWB) and Luton box vans, which provide maximum cubic capacity for vans under 3,500kg (3.5t).
Europcar offers a variety of hire types - in addition to standard daily rental, long-term flexible rental is available.
