Waterloo is a main line railway terminus in the centre of London. Located close to the River Thames, the area is also the home of the London Eye and is just across the river from the Houses of Parliament, Whitehall and Downing Street, home of the British Prime Minister.

Waterloo Station lies within the London Borough of Lambeth, which includes a number of well-known areas of London - such as Brixton, Clapham, Crystal Palace, Kennington, Stockwell, Vauxhall and West Dulwich.
