About Farnborough

The Hampshire town of Farnborough is home to around 65,000 people, but it's probably best known for its annual airshow. This takes place at Farnborough Airport and is one of the biggest events on the international aviation calendar. Most of the major civil and defence airplane manufacturers exhibit at Farnborough and the RAF's Red Arrow display team is a regular feature of the show.

Farnborough Airport is a private airport dedicated to offering business aviation services. It's popular with business visitors and celebrities who can fly in and out discretely and transfer to central London in one hour by car -- or 12 minutes by helicopter!

The airfield complex is also home to the UK's Air Accidents Investigation Branch and to the Royal Aircraft Establishment, a defence research organisation.
