About Guildford

The Surrey town of Guildford is believed to have been founded sometime around 450AD - old even by British standards! Today, it's an attractive, pleasant town full of history and culture and acceptably close to London for rail commuters.

Visitor attractions in Guildford include the Great Tower of Guildford, the medieval structure of The Undercroft and Guildford Cathedral. There are also a number of popular gardens in and around the town.
