About Kenilworth
The Warwickshire town of Kenilworth is located almost exactly midway between Coventry to the north and Warwick to the south. This proximity means that many people use Kenilworth as a commuting base for these cities - despite the fact that Kenilworth has no railway station, leaving residents dependent on car and bus transport.
Kenilworth is a historic town - having first been mentioned in the 1086 Domesday Book - and attractions for visitors to Kenilworth include Kenilworth Castle - possibly the finest ruined castle in the UK, apparently - as well as Stoneleigh Abbey and Kenilworth's four nature reserves.
Kenilworth's motorway connections are excellent, with the M6, M42 and M40 all within a few miles drive of the town. These connections also mean that the town's market gardening industry benefits from good transport links.
