MyLocalVanHire.co.uk Launches Van Hire Mobile Site

MyLocalVanHire.co.uk has just launched m.mylocalvanhire.co.uk, a mobile version of its website that allows customers to find phone numbers and addresses of van and minibus hire branches across the UK.

MyLocalVanHire.co.uk has just launched an all-new mobile version of its popular van hire search website. The mobile site allows users to find van and minibus hire branches throughout the UK and provides phone numbers for each branch.

This allows time-strapped hirers who don't have a computer nearby to search the internet and then book van and minibus hire over the phone, all from the same mobile device. The mobile site can be found at m.vanrental.co.uk and searches exactly the same database as the main website - covering over 690 branches in 368 locations at present. The design of the mobile site is deliberately minimalist - making it fast and simple to use and compatible with the widest possible range of mobile phones and internet-capable PDAs.

MyLocalVanHire.co.uk founder Roland Head says that "The growth of mobile internet usage means that providing a mobile-friendly way of accessing our website is important. The internet is all about sharing information easily. We want our directory of UK van hire companies to be as easily and widely accessible as possible."

Like its parent site, the MyLocalVanHire.co.uk mobile site is completely free to use and requires no registration. At present, very few of the van hire companies listed in the MyLocalVanHire.co.uk directory have mobile-friendly websites - so the mobile version of the site only provides a phone number, not a website link. As and when possible, mobile-friendly website links will be added.
