Evidence of the town's history is scattered throughout the area, but one of Cheadle Hulme's most impressive attractions is Bramall Hall, a timber-framed 14th century manor house. It's set in 70 acres of parkland and both house and park are open to the public.
Excellent transport links are probably of more interest to most of Cheadle Hulme's residents. The area benefits from being within a few minutes' drive of the A34 and M60 and about four miles from Stockport. Manchester Airport is less than 10 miles away, while Manchester itself is about 10 miles to the north.
