About Cork Airport

Cork is Ireland's second busiest airport. Situated to the south of the city of Cork in southern Ireland, it's a popular choice for travellers taking charter flights to European holiday destinations. The airport also operates a number of schedule flights to key European destinations, including London Heathrow, Paris and Amsterdam.

Passenger numbers are still down from the peak of 3.3 million seen in 2008, but with well over 2m passing through the airport each year, it's a busy place that generates substantial demand for car and van hire. International rental operators with branches at the airport can provide a standard range of rental vans, including most of the following models:

  • Medium vans - e.g. Ford Transit Custom, Vauxhall Vivaro, Renault Trafic, Volkswagen Transporter
  • Small vans - e.g. Vauxhall Combo, Ford Transit Connect, VW Caddy
  • Large / long wheelbase vans - e.g. Mercedes Sprinter XLWB, Ford Transit LWB, Renault Master
  • Luton vans & box vans (3.5 tonne / 3.5t).
