Kerry Airport, also known as Farranfore Airport and in Irish as Aerfort Chiarrai, is a regional airport at Farranfore in County Kerry. The airport's location is close to the junction of routes N23 and N22 and is midway between Tralee to the north and Killarney to the south. Each of these neighbouring towns is about 11 miles from the airport, making access very convenient.
Kerry Airport handles about 325,000 passengers per year, most of who fly to UK destinations such as Luton and Stansted airport. Flights to Dublin and various seasonal holiday destinations also operate from the airport, along with scheduled flights to a limited number of other European destinations.
