About Liverpool Lime Street Station
The chateau-like frontage and arched concourse roof of Liverpool Lime Street Railway Station are well-known landmarks in central Liverpool. The station, which dates back to 1833, is the terminus for the TransPennine Express route from Scarborough and also for a branch of the West Coast Main Line from London Euston. Services to the Nottingham and Manchester also run from the station, as do a range of local services.
Liverpool Lime Street also gives access to the Merseyrail underground service.
