About Purfleet
Purfleet is a town in Essex. It lies between the North Circular and the M25 and is traditionally an industrial area. It's also home to the Purfleet Heritage and Military Centre, a military museum that is situated in Magazine no. 5 of what was originally the Royal Magazine for Gunpowder, built during the 18th century to meet the demands of the army and navy during the Napoleonic Wars.
