About Stafford
Stafford is the county town of Staffordshire and home to around 65,000 people. It is historic town that was founded more than 1,000 years ago. St Chad's church is the oldest building in Stafford and dates back to the 12th century. Inside, St Chad's is richly decorated with stone carvings and visitors can view a computer-generated presentation that walks them through the town's history.
