About Sutton
Sutton is a London borough to the south of the city. It's situated due west of Croydon and is just to the north-east of Epsom. Sutton lies just to the north of the North Down and so is surprisingly close to stunning countryside and an extensive natural habitat.
Sutton is also well endowed with parks - including Nonsuch Park (home to King Henry VIII's Nonsuch Palace), Cheam Park, Grove Park and Oaks Park. Other parks including Beddington Park and Carshalton Park and the area also has a small nature reserve - Wilderness Island, on the River Wardle.
