Practical Van Rental Opens Hounslow Branch

I’m pleased to announce that long-time vanrental.co.uk advertiser Practical Car & Van Rental has just opened a new branch in Hounslow. It’s conveniently located just off the A4 and is only a mile from Heathrow Airport. Practical is happy to arrange pickups from Heathrow Airport as well as other nearby locations.

The Hounslow branch offers the usual comprehensive selection of hire vans, including:

  • Small vans (e.g. Vauxhall Combo)
  • Short, medium and long wheelbase panel vans
  • Luton vans (with or without tail lift)
  • 7.5 tonne box vans
  • Refrigerated vans

One-way and long-term rental deals are also a possibility – contact the branch direct for rates.

NEVER EVER AGAIN !!! I have to agree with the previous negative reviews as I had experienced something I though is happening only far far away abroad, not in this country.I’m using van rentals quite offen and I have never experienced anything like it before.I hired a van,I’ve been given VW LT,must have been at least 10 years old, covered 108 000 miles, when I saw it I though :Is this really a van I want to drive to Glasgow in ? basicly, old rusty peace of crap, but I though, well,I don’t want to be a pain,I’ll just get on with it … I drove off and after about a minute I realized there is a light flashing on the dashboard,so I said,no way,I’m going back,I’m not having this.I made a U-turn and got back, where I’ve been told the light is flashing because I’ve been given a spare key, because the original one has been broken over the weekend.I said I don’t trust the vehicle and I want either a different one (as there were quite a few much newer vans parked in the rental compound) or my money back. The man was so rude to me that I asked him to call the manager (I have never ever done this in my life),Than he said he is the manager and the owner. Finally he agreed to give me my money back ONLY IF I PUT A £1 WORTH OF DIESEL IN THE VAN TO COVER 2 MILES I’ve done.So I went to the nearest petrol garage, and I’ve done it so I could have get £500 deposit back and £110 for the rental, when the man was firstly about to charge me for one day because I drove of from the rental premises. Finally I got my money back, but I’d like to warn everybody DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE,unless you’d like to experience something really interesting
