If you are planning on picking up or dropping off a hire van at one of the UK’s airports this summer, prepare for additional checks and delays driving up to the terminal building.

In the wake of the Glasgow Airport bombing airport terminal security has been tightened nationwide – especially in relation to vehicular access to terminals.

All the major van hire companies have confirmed that they are operating business as usual, but that additional time should be allowed to cope with the delays.
