Each of these companies offers a competitive and comprehensive service that will reduce the insurance excess on your van hire to as little as £100.

If you’re not familiar with insurance arrangement for rental vans, here’s a quick explanation. Daily van rental rates normally include insurance which meets all legal requirements. However, there are usually some restrictions:

• An excess of £500-£1500 is quite common
• Damage to windows, tyres, roof and the underside of the van are usually excluded
